KWCF will consider and award grants to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations to support youth and development programs, and to increase participation in winter sports programs throughout the Northeast. Requests for KWCF to match funding for qualifying projects will be favored in the grant selection process.
Who is eligible for a Planning Grant: KWCF will consider and award grants to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations to support youth and development programs, and to increase participation in winter sports programs throughout the Northeast and SARA regions. (ME/NH/VT/CT/NY/MA/MD/RI/NJ/PA/NC/VA/WV).
What We Don’t Fund: At this point in the grant application process, we are unable to accept requests for funding outside of the region we serve.

Grants are made once a year.
The grant deadlines each year are as follows:
Application: March 18, 2024
Grant Announcement: June 20, 2024
Funding begins: September 1, 2024
Review Process: Applications will be reviewed by a committee with representation from US Ski and Snowboard, Northeast ski academies/programs, and community representatives. This committee will make recommendations to the KWCF. The KWCF will approve the funding awards. Planning Grant awards will be announced June 20, 2024.
Grant Eligibility and Reporting:
Must include recognition of KWCF on website, publications, and other appropriate media.
KWCF must be provided with a copy of the press release announcing the award.
How to submit your Proposal: All proposal documentation is due by March 18, 2024 and needs to be sent electronically to lboynton@kwcfgivesback.org.
